Rowing
I have loved being a part of a team sport again. The push to perform for your teammates and the friendships you make made the WashU rowing team a great experience. I loved learning a new sport and finding a great community at WashU. In my senior year, I was president of the team which allowed me to see a whole new side of the team and enact positive change. I was awarded the W. Alfred Hayes Award for outstanding senior athletes who lead at WashU by Campus Life.

Academics
WashU’s academics allowed me to expand my horizons in so many ways. Beyond earning my Physics degree, I was able to learn more about the environment, how to create maps, and how to be a more empathetic and educated member of society.
